Kind of a big feller

You really don't get the magnitude of this GL1000 engine until you see it out of the frame.
(it doesn't help that it is pictured with a huge pile of junk behind it)

The vertically opposed 4 cylinder design makes this engine very wide and flat. The engine and transmission measures approximatly:

Height: 15 inches
Width: 26 inches
Depth: 20 inches

Ya I did get it out. You'll have to remove all the rear brake lines and pull out all the wiring around the battery box before it will slide out. Once all that was out of the way it really did come out easy.

I don't have a face book account but I would like to see some pics of your project.
